At the Johannesburg Airport with Elder and Sister Koelliker

WE'VE ARRIVED! After 26 hours of traveling, we arrived here in Johannesburg. Elder and Sister Koelliker surprisingly greeted us at the airport. It was so nice to see such great friends. It was a long couple of flights and we’re incredibly tired but we are more than excited to be here in South Africa. My mom and I have accomplished our goal to reach all 7 continents on one passport. Tomorrow we’re off to a game preserve…we’ll keep in touch. - Levi

Yippee! You're in South Africa! This news has absolutely made my day! I'll be checking on you daily. My prayers and thoughts are with you. While I was in France, Zach wrote me a letter and at the end he said "enjoy it while it lasts, remember, you'll be home soon." I think that's fitting today! Salt Lake will be waiting, so make some amazing memories!
All my love,
Yvette

I'm so happy to hear you all made it there! I can't imagine how hard that flight would be, yuck.

I can't wait to see photos of your trip, i have always wanted to go to South Africa (despite my worried parents' and husband's bidding) ever since doing my "country report" on the nation in 6th grade.

i hope you're having a great time and look forward to seeing you when you all get home!

Love to you all,

abbie (bell cartersmith)

Hey, Levi. This is the second time I have commented, but I guess I don't know what I am doing, because the first one didn't post. Anyhow, I was so glad for your message that you got there OK. Especially after such a looooooong trip. I am so excited for you, and hope you really enjoy your visit to Africa. I am so glad you got to reach that goal you have wanted for so long. I am looking forward to receiving all your updates, and seeing more pictures. I love you so much, and you are constantly in my thoughts and prayers. Give your Mom and Dad my love, and say hi to Gavin. Love ya, Leanne

Levi and Snarr Group,
I loved seeing your picture and am glad to view your trip through your eyes. You know how I feel about the crawling things. The airplane ride must have been brutal, considering I get claustrophbic in the back seat of a car in two minutes. Needless to say I'm not the best of travelers. Can't wait for more pictures and updates. Our prayers and love go with you all. Get some rest!!
Love you,
Tuckett

We love you Levi! Snarr's...you are the best!
XOXOXO

Levi my man,

You astound me. Your enthusiasm and determination are a genuine inspiration. We are so excited for you and your family and friends who are with you to all have this amazing and memorable trip together. I wish I could see all the animals with you.

I find myself thinking of you several times throughout the day and each time stopping to say a prayer that you will have added strength. We pray that you will feel peaceful and feel watched over. But you already knew that would happen before you left. You had the faith that is inspiring everyone around you. And so many people are checking in every day to share the excitement with you. They are all praying for you. You are living a miracle Levi. You are amazing.

Love,

Bill, Claudia, Chris, Cat, Michael and Ethan

Congrats! to the Levi Snarr Safari party!!! We cannot express in words how happy we are that you all safely arrived. There was never a doubt in our minds that you would successfully reach this goal. Levi, you can tell me in person, upon your return, if Ron spent the first night in Africa at the Emperor Casino playing cards.

You are now at the Kambaku Safari Lodge, please tell us how you enjoyed the natural "tonic". As we think of the inspiration that you have given us, it seems so appropriate you are spending your first days in Africa in the spiritual home of the White Lion.

Thanks to all of the Levi Snarr Safari Party for sharing your experience, strenth and hope with us.
Love Dave, Ang, Luke and Gracie

I am so proud of you Levi!! You are in so many's thoughts and prayers. When ever I hear anyone complain or whine or take anything for granite in life all I have to do is direct them to this blog to see what life is truly about!!! like in the movie second hand lions, you Levi have TRULY lived this life and know the defination and meaning of life. I can't wait to hear more of your adventures. My Mom and Dad printed off the airport picture so its in a frame in my home. All those inspiration photos and billboards along the highway should be replaced with your picture! your in our thoughts and prayers.

Hi Levi, Sy and the gang!
Wow! How long have we talked about going to Africa? Now, you are really there. Because Bob and I have been to Africa, we know what a great adventure you're in for. Enjoy every minute, take lots of pictures of Levi petting the lions, and watch for all of those monkeys running across the street! Levi, you are my hero, you would give the energizer bunny a run for his money!! Love you all, Bobbie

P.S. Sy, I'll bet you can't guess what I'm doing?...you lucky dog!

Levi, fam and lets not forget Gavbo,

How’s the old king of the jungle (I don’t really think that you’re in the jungle, I just really love that saying)? It’s great to see you in the mother-land, and I hope you are all having the time of your lives. You are really missing out on some fun times here, the softball coach and I have really bonded, I haven’t messed anything up yet, mostly because it’s been raining too much to have practice. Gav, the stadium cleaning chick with all the “cold sores” says hi. Anyway, I can’t wait to hear the tales, and see the pics.

Levi, you’re amazing!

See you soon.

Levi-
You would own the reality show Amazing Race-nobody could compete! We are so excited for you and yes..we admit jealous, that you are in Africa!
Bevi, I will never forget my first time out of the country on our Europe trip & how lost I was. If it wasn't for you and your cultered skills of knowing where you are and being able to navigate in another country I'd have been completely lost! Nobody could ask for a better friend & better example of courage & determination & follow through. I knew you would make your dream of all 7 continents come true. Amb & I can't wait for you to show us the pics and hear the stories when you get back. We love you like family,
Jessboy & Amb

Snarr's: Congratulations on a most remarkable journey! Your spirit, determination and faith are inspiring to us all. Finally, Ron will have something other than the "Tube" to teach us on Sunday morning (you now get an extra week in the rotation). Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Jim, Mike & Bill & the other HP's.
